Die Jury hat nach der Vorauswahl der Top 11 nun die drei Startups erkoren, welche im Finale für den ZKB Pionierpreis stehen. Es sind dies das Legaltech-Startup Ex Nunc Intelligence, das Infrastrukturtech-Jungunternehmen irmos technologies und das Medtech-Startup Nanoflex Robotics. Das Sieger-Startup wird am 20. Mai 2025 im Technopark Zürich gekürt und mit 100'000 Franken prämiert.

Fifteen startups have benefited from the USZ Health Innovation program, creating over 75 jobs and securing more than 30 million CHF in funding.  So far, two additional startups have been added this year to the portfolio and awarded the USZ Startup Label.

In collaboration with Evri, UK’s largest dedicated parcel delivery company, Swiss startup Rivr has launched a pilot project to deliver packages with its wheeled-legged electric robots in the UK, starting with Barnsley. During the three-month pilot, the robot will work in tandem with human staff to reduce delivery times. The launch of robotic delivery by Evri will be a UK industry first.

On 2 April, the chief negotiators from Switzerland and the European Union initialled an agreement in Brussels on Switzerland’s participation in EU programmes. The agreement comes into force once the overall Switzerland-EU package has been ratified, but could already be applied provisionally after the signing, which is due to take place in November. Asklepios, one of the largest private hospital groups in Germany, with over 170 locations, started to transport laboratory samples using drone technology from Switzerland. The Jedsy drone will cover a 60-kilometer route between Asklepios Privatklinik Blomenburg in Selent and Asklepios Klinikum Bad Oldesloe, traversing both densely populated urban areas and quieter rural regions. The German Federal Aviation Office has approved this route.
