Lausanne-based Wecheer, a leader in end-to-end trade management solutions for the consumer-packaged goods industry, has secured USD 1.7 million from IM Ventures as a Pre-Series-A investment. The company is already in advanced negotiations regarding the Series A round. 

Wecheer is revolutionizing the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sector with its end-to-end trade management platform that was designed to help CPG brands manage their third-party distribution networks more effectively. Using the platform CPG brands can adapt, optimize, and thrive through real-time sales tracking, data-driven insights, and AI-driven solutions. The company uses QR codes and smart bottle openers to streamline campaign onboarding and staff rewards, achieving significant ROI improvements for clients Renowned companies including Coca-Cola, Mars Wrigley, Pepsico, Pernod Ricard, Kellenova and several in 13 countries have deployed Wecheer’s technology and more than 40% year-on-year growth, the company is ambitioned to further scale its solution worldwide.

With funds from a financing round, Wecheer aims to accelerate its development in real-time sales digitization, helping global CPG brands that do not control their Point of Scales (POS) to gain complete visibility into their sales cycle and optimize trade incentives. As a first step Wecheer raised USD 1.7 million from IM Ventures, signaling strong confidence in Wecheer’s long-term potential and its innovative approach to solving the crisis facing major consumer goods brands.
