After a rigorous analysis carried out by HEC Lausanne students as part of the Fidag Consulting Award, the Prix Strategis jury selected the five start-ups that will go through to the final phase:
- Lightium (Zurich) designs photonic chips for telecommunications and AI, combining speed and energy efficiency.
- Green-Y Energy (Bern) offers an innovative 3-in-1 system that stores electricity and produces heat and cooling using patented compressed-air storage technology.
- Qaptis (Lausanne), designer of a CO₂ capture plug-in kit for heavy-duty vehicles.
- HekeTiss SA (Geneva), creator of TrophiPatch, a stem cell-based patch to treat chronic wounds with clinical trials planned for 2025.
- Yeastup (Argau), specialises in recycling surplus brewer's yeast for the food and cosmetics industries.
HEC Espace Entreprise also congratulates Crowdtransfer, Uzufly and Kuori on reaching the semi-finals. Their elimination in no way detracts from the quality of their projects, which demonstrated innovation, ambition and potential. These start-ups have reached the semi-final stage, demonstrating their promise in the eyes of the Jury.
As every year, the Strategis Prize will reward the best Swiss start-up with a prize of CHF 40,000, high media visibility and the opportunity to present its project to a prestigious jury made up of influential figures from the Swiss entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Big finale on May 1st in Lausanne
The Jury will meet for the final time on 7 April to choose which of the 5 start-ups will be the winner of this 32nd edition of the Strategis Prize. It will be unveiled to the public at the Closing on 1 May 2025 at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
New this year: a People's Prize, awarded by Agefi, will be presented at the end of the final, enabling the public to vote for their favourite start-up from among the five finalists. In addition, the Prix Strategis will be announced live at the event.
