Building on the success of its paid pilot projects in Paris, Athens and soon in Nagoya, Japan, Aerospec is on a roll. The EPFL spin-off led by Nikunj Dudani has recently completed a funding round bringing the total amount raised in 2024 to CHF 800,000 and aims to officially launch its solution by the end of the year.

In addition to announcing its rebranding to Hilo, Aktiia, a blood pressure intelligence platform, has completed an oversubscribed $42 million Series B funding round, bringing the company’s total funding to date to $100 million. Co-led by Earlybird Health and Wellington Partners, the proceeds from round will accelerate expansion into new markets.

NovaMea, an EPFL spinoff developing and commercializing electrochemical systems for energy storage and conversion, has secured USD 9 million in its Series A funding round. Supported by several international investors, the proceeds will allow the company to scale production in preparation for its global market launch.

Following the launch of its B2B platform for renewable energy sourcing, Ticino-based startup DEC Energy is signing its first corporate clients and has opened a CHF 1.2 million seed round. A relevant share is already committed by existing investors and a strategic partner.

The newly launched suite of PriceHubble AI-Agents rely on the startup’s trusted real estate data, task automation and generative AI to enable finance and real estate professionals to increase customer engagement and accelerate productivity. The suite comprises of three solutions, which are being used for specific use cases, with broader availability later this year.

Today, DePoly - the leading sustainable PET-to-raw-material recycling company – announces the upcoming launch of a 500-tonne-per-year plant in Monthey, this summer. The company is planning to build a commercial plant in 2027. To further accelerate this expansion, DePoly has secured a total of $23 million in seed funding with MassMutual Ventures joining a second closing of its round.

Annaida Technologies, the first company to bring magnetic resonance to the scale of cells, has closed an oversubscribed Pre-Series A funding round led by HEMEX. The capital infusion will allow the company to launch its product in the fertility market and support further advancements.

With LightlyEdge, AI startup, Lightly, is introducing a new data collection solution to enable European automotive manufacturers to close the innovation gap with smarter, faster data collection deployed directly in vehicles. This product complements the existing AI solutions which are currently used by companies such as Bosch, John Deere, and Syngenta.
