In a milestone move, DemoSquare’s founder and CEO Victor Kristof soft-launched the EU version of its platform last week in Brussels. Building on success in Switzerland, the Govtech spent months developing a tool set to transform the work of EU policy analysts and public affairs professionals. Today, it begins a pilot program with select clients across industries, collecting feedback ahead of a full launch later this year.

Based in Lausanne and originating from Trust Valley, DemoSquare has just reached a new milestone in its development by soft launching its platform in Brussels. The start-up, led by Victor Kristof, has established itself as a serious and innovative provider of political and regulatory analysis in Switzerland by developing the first AI agent dedicated to public affairs. ‘We are proud to count among our clients companies, public institutions, industry associations, consulting firms and certain media outlets,’ says the CEO to Startupticker.ch

Regarding the ongoing soft launch, Victor Kristof explains that his company began integrating EU data in early 2025, with a few beta testers joining the project in March, and that a pilot phase with selected organizations is currently underway alongside the rollout. Regarding the interest generated by the project, he tells us: ‘We have even already signed a contract with a large technology company, which is becoming our first customer.’

Entering the EU is a key milestone for DemoSquare, as the government technology company takes its first steps outside Switzerland, paving the way for international expansion. It is also the result of months of hard work by its team. Today, the start-up has an office in Brussels where its first Belgian employee works, and the CEO plans to spend a lot of time in the city's European quarter over the coming months.

An ambitious roadmap

Looking ahead, Victor Kristof says his GovTech company based at Unlimitrust Campus is committed to building the most powerful agentic policy-intelligence platform and helping its growing customer base navigate the complexities of legislative and regulatory changes. The company is also preparing its next round of funding planned for the second quarter of 2026.
