Vector8 acquires Fintech company in Macedonia

Vector8 is a Swiss rooted international data and AI transformation partner aiming to help ambitious enterprises cut through the AI noise and harness the power of human/machine collaboration. It provides end-to-end solutions, from ideation and business case development to proof of concept, implementation, and ongoing operations, thereby helping them to invest in the right strategy and technology stack to reap the benefits of AI technology while reducing risk.

Founded in May 2024 by Marc Maret and Christoph Thommen, the startup has built its AI center of excellence in Skopje, with a team of data, cloud, and AI specialists that support clients all over Europe with their AI Transformation goals. The startup has also established a presence in London and France. The latter comes after the acquisition of 15 specialists from Wefox in Paris, strengthening its insurance expertise and AI capabilities in the Insurance sector. 

The latest acquisition of Nexora team comprising ten specialists further strengthens vector8’s presence in the Macedonian market, bringing specialist skills and strong experience in the financial sector.  With this strategic move, Vector8 has grown its team to 50 people, providing solutions in the banking sector and insurance — particularly in claims management, fraud, and damages.
