Rivero inks major deal with SIX

Rivero, a SaaS startup specializing in dispute management and compliance for payment transactions, is collaborating with SIX, a leading European financial market infrastructure provider, and its partner banks. Through this partnership, Rivero will offer its Amiko solution for fraud recovery and dispute management, enabling the startup to expand its reach.

Based in Zurich, Rivero is a fast-growing European company and a Visa Fintech Partner specializing in streamlining payment operations within the highly regulated payments industry. Founded in 2019, Rivero has developed two flagship products: Kajo, which enables payment scheme compliance by minimizing risks and efforts for payment network licensees, and Amiko, which revolutionizes fraud recovery and dispute management by digitizing processes—enhancing efficiency for issuing banks and strengthening consumer protection.

Rivero has expanded its customer base through a strategic partnership with SIX and its partner banks. Amiko will empower SIX to optimize its chargeback process by introducing self-service features for its partners and their cardholders, increasing operational efficiency and improving the customer experience. From 2026, SIX will leverage Amiko for managing fraud and dispute cases related to debit cards issued and/or processed by SIX, covering over 100 Swiss banks. This collaboration significantly extends Rivero’s market reach.

As one of Switzerland’s leading debit card processors, SIX handles incoming fraud and dispute cases for its partner banks. Rivero’s Amiko solution will streamline this process, reducing media disruptions and enabling chargeback agents and analysts to work more efficiently—ultimately enhancing fraud and dispute resolution.
