Six Swiss startups are among the nine startups selected to join the second edition of the Digital Health Centre Bülach and Tenity. During four-months, participants will receive tailored support and access to industry players.
The Digital Health Accelerator, launched by the Digital Health Centre Bülach (DHC) and Tenity, is a four-month program designed to empower Digital Health startups and elevate the healthcare system. The program offers tailored mentorship from healthcare industry experts, access to a global network of healthcare stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and an international network of active investors.
Following a highly competitive selection process, the program organisers have revealed the 9 startups chosen to participate in the second batch of the program. The startups are developing solutions for a variety of sectors, such as mental health, caregiving, collaboration platforms, personalized medicine or data driven therapies. Starting this week until mid-May, the startups will participate in masterclasses in Zurich and Bülach to engage with the local ecosystem.
The startups from Switzerland are:
Citus | Zurich – delivers data-driven technology to advance personalized skin care, with a mission focused on promoting skin health.
Healactively AG | Zug – offers a B2B2C back wellness coach and SaaS platform, providing all the tools you need for back pain self-management.
Safespace Research | Zurich –offers research based and AI enhanced tool for mental health. A comprehensive support platform to elevate the work of therapists and counselling services.
Smilamind | St. Gallen – develops an AI-driven remote monitoring tool that helps psychotherapists prioritize young patients' needs with real-time insights, enabling timely, effective interventions & streamlined care.
AssistWell GmbH | St. Gallen – is creating a NEO Spitex that aims to revolutionise the Swiss outpatient care industry through more efficient and effective processes to better address the needs of patients and nurses alike.
Ohana Health | Geneva - helps family members learn how to care with confidence. Working with experts from around the world Ohana's goal is democratize the insights from universities, care providers, and other healthcare authorities by creating a curriculum that is readily accessible through an online platform.
Startups from abroad are:
VetApp | Warsaw – is a medical tool dedicated to Pet Parents, Veterinarians and insurance companies. VetApp allows users to quickly and reliably provide the best quality medical care for their pets.
Gena Health | London – connects rare cancer patients to personalized treatments beyond standard care, democratising access to personalized medicine, enabling patients and physicians to better manage the disease.
Neurality | Lodz, Poland – developed NeuralEP AI, a software that automates auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing for faster, more accurate hearing diagnostics. The solution also offers visual and somatosensory tests.
The new Swiss Venture Capital Report was published on 26 January. It analyses 304 financing rounds closed in 2020 and includes further article such as an interview with Michael Hengartner, President of the ETH Board, and a list of Swiss "soonicorns".
