Calenso founding team

With a customer base comprising over 10’000 customers, Calenso has grown into a leading scheduling platform in the DACH region. The company is merging with US companies jrni, the international specialist in personalized customer interactions, and Event Farm, the pioneer in event marketing to create a one-stop-shop for face-to-face customer interactions from appointments to queuing to events and beyond. Calenso remains an independent brand driven by a team from its headquarters in Rothenburg, Lucerne.

Calenso has established itself as a leading scheduling solution for companies in consulting-intensive industries, enabling them to schedule appointments efficiently and securely. With a strong focus on data protection and branding, Calenso tailors its platform to meet the unique needs of each company. Its Customer Engagement Platform integrates appointment scheduling with video consultations, group appointments, room booking, and detailed analytics to empower employees to delight customers at every step of their journey.

Founded in 2016 as a product of the digital agency Braincept AG, Calenso quickly gained momentum, allowing the team to rebrand the company and establish it as a standalone SaaS entity, Calenso AG. This rebrand enabled the company to concentrate fully on appointment scheduling and customer interaction solutions. Today, Calenso serves over 10,000 customers, including both SMEs and large enterprises across industries such as financial services, retail, healthcare, public administration, and professional services. Among its clients are 75 key enterprise accounts across the DACH and Benelux markets.

Thanks to its growing customer base, Calenso has achieved a mid-single-digit million ARR and maintained a 40% Year-on-Year growth rate over the past few years, with a projected increase to 53% in 2025. The company has also expanded its team to 20 employees, including core team members: Marvin Felder (Co-Founder & CEO), Patrick Breiter (Co-Founder & CTO), Michael Breiter (Co-Founder), Yanick Küchler (Head of Marketing), and Ralf Triebel (Customer Success Manager).

Merger fuels further growth at Calenso
With its merger with US-based company JRNI and Event Farm, Calenso is embarking on a new chapter in its growth journey, with the ambition of becoming the leading enterprise platform for in-person interactions.Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, JRNI is a leading enterprise engagement platform that streamlines scheduling and enhances large-scale customer experiences. Powered by AI, it supports appointments, queuing, and events, while its analytics tool provides valuable insights. JRNI helps businesses deliver seamless remote and in-person experiences, boosting customer satisfaction, loyalty, and driving revenue.

By integrating appointment scheduling, group events, queue management, and experiential events into a seamless, scalable solution, Calenso, JRNI and Event Farm are setting the stage for next-level customer engagement. Together, their combined technologies will offer customers an integrated, global solution that elevates customer dialog. This merger also includes Washington, DC based Event Farm, a toolset of event engagement applications designed to promote brands and engage targeted audiences at in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.

After the merger, Calenso will remain an independent product within the JRNI Group, continuing to operate from its headquarters in Lucerne with a strong focus on the DACH market. This merger also provides Calenso with the opportunity to expand its expertise in banking, finance, retail, and government solutions, while collaborating with JRNI to develop innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of data protection, scalability, and user-friendliness. As such, Calenso views this merger as gaining a strong partner, access to international infrastructure, extended financing, and enhanced security standards—all of which will directly benefit customers.
