Usain Bolt uses Dartfish

Dartfish employs today more than 50 people with headquarters in Fribourg, Switzerland, and offices around the world. The roots of Dartfish lie at the EPFL in Lausanne where the technology for the first product – today called Simulcam – was developed. Dartfish was one of the first companies to receive the CTI Start-up Label.
Dartfish quickly grew and became well known for its innovative digital image enhancements in the sports broadcast world. Based on its technological know-how, Dartfish soon branched out into other growth areas such as interactive internet content enhancements and the development of cutting-edge sport training applications.
In an interview with the magazine Stuff, Usain Bolt revealed that he is one of the users of the Dartfish technology. He says: “To monitor my training we use Dartfish technology. I don’t know much about it, but it pretty much just slows everything down so you can work on your technique – I just run! It’s really improved my starts. _My coach sits and analyses all my movements: where my foot should be and what angle I should be at.”
