Following the recent addition of 700 square metres on a further floor due to high demand, the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area location on the Novartis Campus now spreads over four floors in a high-rise building. The location offers start-ups a comprehensive package of services and proximity to established companies.
The Novartis Campus is one of the vibrant centres of the Basel pharmaceutical industry. The Campus is Novartis' global headquarters, with around 7,000 employees on site. It is also home to companies such as Pharmaplan, CSL Behring, SOTIO Biotech and Ultragenyx. Last but not least, research institutions like Friedrich Miescher Institute (FMI), the Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB) are in close proximity.
The Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area is located in one of the buildings on the campus. Currently there are 40 residents focussed on digital health and health tech. These include well-known start-ups such as Bottneuro, Nutrix, Scailyte and Zoundream. It is also home to the DayOne Accelerator verticals ‘Digital Health Nation’ and ‘Health 4.0’,
They benefit from the comprehensive services. These include invaluable community access, and everything a digital health startup could wish for:
