A group of 23 startups have been selected to participate in the upcoming Slush conference in Helsinki this week, securing an opportunity to meet investors, collaboration partners and exchange with peers. The startups will present their solutions which are designed to prevent or alleviate post-op dementia, provide real-time financial analyses to financial institutions, make elastomers from food waste and help laboratories develop enzymes faster and more reliably using AI.

Slush Conference is one of the leading European events for startups and technology companies. Held at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Center, the 2024 edition is scheduled for November 20-21 and is expected to attract around 13,000 participants, including 5,500 startup founders, 3,300 investors, and 250 media representatives. The conference features extensive networking opportunities, including curated sessions for startup founders and investors, pitching competitions, a dedicated exhibition area and personalized mentoring sessions with experienced entrepreneurs. With over 300 side events planned, Slush fosters informal networking and collaboration, creating a vibrant community for tech enthusiasts and innovators from around the globe.

The 7th Swisstech Pavilion powered by Presence Switzerland, Switzerland Global Enterprise, Innosuisse and the Embassy of Switzerland in Finland will host 23 startups that will showcase their Artificial Inteligence (AI)-powered and cleantech solutions. Additionally, the pavilion will organize the Swiss Hour twice daily, allowing visitors to learn more about each startup, and how they are solving the challenges of today and tomorrow.

The startups supported by Innosuisse to present at Slush 2024 are:

inSEIT AG, (Cleantech) - specializing in the screening, application, and scaling up of enzyme immobilization techniques for industrial applications.

Innosuisse supports 22 out of the 23 exhibiting start-ups. The exception is inSeit.
