Launched last March, Selma AI reveals potential savings of millions in financial advice. Artificial intelligence is used to analyze personal financial situations and create individual portfolios, just as a human investment advisor would.

With 4,500 registered chat conversations in the first month, the fintech reckons it would have taken 30 financial advisors around two weeks to process these requests at an hourly rate of CHF 250. As a result, Selma AI users were able to save around CHF 375,000 in advisory costs. It is therefore no wonder that 86% of customers stated that they found the exchange with Selma AI to be positive.

The quality of advice provided by Selma AI is in no way inferior to personal advice. This is confirmed by the positive feedback from users, 86% of whom rated their interactions with Selma AI as helpful. Case studies in the Selma’s just released white paper show that customers follow Selma AI's recommendations and make appropriate financial decisions. "In the first month, we have already seen that many customers are following Selma AI's recommendations and adjusting their investments accordingly. This underlines the fact that trust in artificial intelligence is just as strong as in human financial advisors," adds Patrik Schär.

Disrupting SME payroll management

After several months of training, Morges-based fintech Earny, a specialist in payroll management for SMEs led by Ladislas Beuzelin launched its chatbot. Earny is an intelligent virtual assistant designed to transform payroll process management for Swiss fiduciaries, SMEs and startups, and answer all their administrative questions on the subject.

The novel chatbot has been trained using vast quantities of documents and resources, including Swiss payroll and employment laws, current collective agreements, Earny's internal FAQs and how-to guides, Swissdec documents, documents from key economic partners such as the CVCI and official AVS documentation
