Gold Avenue promotes CFO to CEO
GOLD AVENUE, a Geneva-based online platform specializing in the buying, selling, and storage of precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, has welcomed Nicolas Cracco as its new CEO, succeeding who led the company to great heights for seven years. With its team of 20 experts, the platform has attracted over 100,000 investors. Cracco held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Gold Avenue since September 2020. Prior to his role at Gold Avenue, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Expedia Group. He will leverage this financial analysis and management experience to lead Gold Avenue to the next level.

Deadelean appoints new CEO
Luuk van Dijk, founder of Daedalean has handed over his leadership role to incoming CEO Bas Gouverneur to lead the company’s commercial strategy as of October following the transition. The company develops autonomous flight control software for civil aviation and advanced aerial mobility. Luuk will continue serving Daedalean as Executive Chairman of the Board, focusing on several far-reaching technical projects slated to be accomplished along the company’s innovation roadmap. Bas Gouverneur joins Daedalean after a four-year tenure at Swiss aviation technology leader RUAG, where he most recently served as its Chief Technology Officer, focusing on the strategic planning and execution of the company’s technological innovations.

Biospectal has a new CEO
Bernat Albinyana has assumed the role of CEO at digital health startup Biospectal, which specialises in blood pressure monitoring through its flagship product, the OptiBP app. With Bernat's extensive medical industry experience and multinational business leadership, Biospectal is poised to expand its European and global presence. Prior to his role at Biospectal, Albinyana held various leadership positions in the healthcare industry, including as Chief Operating Officer at Stratpharma. His extensive experience spans consulting and management roles in several high-profile companies, including Unilever and Novartis.

NovoMOF welcomes VP Commercial Strategy
NovoMOF, a specialist in the field of advanced materials, is focused on the development, production and commercialization of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Alentis appoints CFO from Boston
Alentis Therapeutics, the clinical-stage biotechnology company developing treatments for Claudin-1 positive (CLDN1+) tumors and organ fibrosis, has appointed Jonathan Freve to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Based near Boston, Mass. in the United States, Jonnathan has more than 25 years of financial experience in biotech. Most recently, he was CFO at Galecto, a NASDAQ-listed clinical-stage biotechnology company with locations in Copenhagen and Boston, where he led the IPO process in 2020. Prior to Galecto, he served as CFO and Treasurer of Spring Bank Pharmaceuticals, a NASDAQ-listed clinical-stage biotechnology company in Boston, where he led the IPO process in 2016. Before that, he was at Santaris Pharma in Copenhagen, which was acquired by Roche in 2014.
