RogerHR and its software for extremely simple and flexible HR management
Faced with a changing world of work, companies need to adapt their practices and tools. With the arrival of teleworking since Covid, but also the difficulty of retaining talent and the challenge this poses in terms of the attractiveness of companies, the way in which the human factor is managed is being challenged. Against this backdrop, HR is increasingly seen as a lever for growth. However, the tools they have at their disposal are no longer in tune with the new face of the world of work.
Rigid, closed because they are dependent on IT suppliers, and complex to use - these are the three main problems shared by traditional HR software (HRMS). RogerHR software tackles these three pitfalls by offering companies a new HRMS that is easy to use, quick to implement and extremely flexible.
Presented in the form of an intuitive, fun platform, RogerHR integrates a wide range of functions divided into three main categories: administrative management, time management and talent management. All from a single tool that can be controlled by HR staff from their smartphone or computer, giving them all the analytical and forecasting tools they need to ensure the smooth running and performance of the company.
FIT's support in the form of a Digital Growth loan of CHF 200,000 will enable the RogerHR team to recruit new staff dedicated to acquiring new customers and developing additional functionalities for the HRIS tool.
Genius Loci and its connected medals to promote heritage more widely
Every year, the European tourism market attracts 700 million visitors to points of interest. The problem is that only 1% of Europe's 200,000 towns and villages attract mass tourism. How can we make the most of the other 99%, in this age of ‘slow tourism’? This is the question that the innovation developed under the name ‘Genius Loci’ aims to answer.
To attract people, you first need to get the word out about the places you are going to, to be visible, but you also need to know how to promote them in the right ways and with the right impact. However, the most commonly used tools, such as tourist signage, are ageing and uninviting. Added to this is a lack of resources for content creation on the part of towns and tourist offices, and a digital shift that is still a long way off for these two key players in the promotion of their rich heritage.
The Genius Loci phygital product combines a web application and a physical medium, taking the form of a network of connected stainless steel medals (one for each location), which visitors scan to gain immediate access to rich content. Located in places of strategic interest to tourists and locals, each medal opens onto an immersive community space, giving access to dynamic maps that can be used to create ‘self-made’ tourist itineraries. In this way, local residents become players and ambassadors for their city and its heritage. The city itself retains control over the information contained in the application.
The Digital Seed loan of CHF 50,000 granted by FIT will enable Genius Loci to continue developing its phygital tool, in particular by building management dashboards and aggregated statistics, the ability to create tourism pages, and APIs that will eventually enable the tool to be connected to the platforms of major cities and/or tourist offices. Part of the budget will also be allocated to marketing to increase visibility.
Cllia: an innovation to secure and optimise self-service farm sales
In Switzerland, more than 12,600 farming families offer a system for the direct sale of produce from their harvest. Many of these self-service systems face the same problems: increased theft, complex stock management, low profitability in relation to the time spent on management, inadequate communication and isolated sales outlets. As a result, some operators are abandoning this sales method.
With its physical and digital (phygital) system combining an electronic box (hardware) and a mobile application (software), Cllia aims to provide a turnkey, simple and effective solution to farmer self-service. The innovation is based on the complementary nature of the box and the mobile application, which together address the pitfalls of current systems. Fully autonomous, the device operates offline and allows the opening of all types of doors using the user’s connection.
The electronic box installed at the point of sale makes it possible to secure the self-service entrance and prevent theft. The products are then scanned by customers via the App, enabling the operator to view and manage stocks in real time. Payment is also made simply and securely via the App, improving the shopping experience for the consumer and monitoring sales for the producer. Finally, the App also enables producers to gain greater visibility and attract new customers, an invaluable asset particularly for self-services located in isolated areas.
With the award of a CHF 20,000 Digital Grant from FIT, Cllia will be able to carry out market analyses and canvass customers, devote part of this budget to marketing and communications, and finalise the development of its system, in terms of both software and hardware. Cllia also hopes to offer its innovative system to other industries in the field of the circular economy by proposing tailor-made solutions to meet the needs of players in this fast-growing sector.
