Loxo, Neustark, and Zaphiro are making strides across Europe with solutions in autonomous delivery, carbon removal, and smart grid monitoring. They are expanding their presence through direct operations and strategic partnerships, focusing on growth in new markets.

Building on its early success in Switzerland, Loxo, which developed Europe's first Level 4 autonomous vehicle to operate on public roads for last-mile and middle-mile delivery applications, has established a subsidiary in Munich, Germany, Loxo GmbH. This move marks the company’s next step forward in bringing autonomous driving technology across Europe. The first project in Germany is underway, with plans to kick off in spring next year. Further negotiations with industry players in other European countries are ongoing. Co-founder, Lara Amini will be spearhead LOXO GmbH as Managing Director supported by a dedicated team. The first employee is already on board with more to join in the coming months.

Neustark opens first carbon removal site in UK
Neustark’s technology captures CO₂ from biomass sites, liquefies it, then injects it into existing mineral waste streams such as demolished materials to be recycled and used in construction. This utilizes a process of mineralization that stores the CO₂ in the aggregate, permanently removing it from the atmosphere and creating carbonated, recycled building materials such as concrete.

In collaboration with its partner Aggregate Industries UK (part of the Holcim Group), has just launched its first-ever carbon removal site in the UK, making it the company’s 20th site globally, and one of the first commercially and ecologically viable solutions for permanent, onshore carbon removal in the country. The new site in Greenwich, London aims to extract up to 1,000 tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere annually by transforming demolition concrete into a permanent carbon sink. This is the equivalent of the carbon sequestered by over 16,000 tree seedlings grown for 10 years. As a leading supplier of materials and solutions to the construction industry, and a key player in the development of UK’s infrastructure, buildings and homes, Aggregate Industries will accelerate Neustark’s growth and provide high-quality, sustainable products to its customers.
