Gartner publishes complete list of Cool Vendors 2013

Each year, Gartner identifies new Cool Vendors in key technology areas and publishes a series of research reports highlighting these innovative vendors and their products and services. Five Swiss start-ups are on the list: Dacuda, Kooaba, Actlight, Crossing-Tech and CloudSigma.
Three Swiss start-ups had already announced that they are one of the Gartner Cool Vendors 2013: Dacuda, Kooaba and Actlight. Now Gartner has published the complete list. And with Crossing Tech and Eurocloud Swiss are two other Swiss start-ups on the list too.
Crossing-Tech SA, a company held by James Nauffray, founder and CEO, is specialized in solving the critical problem of data inconsistency among incompatible systems. Founded in 2003, Crossing-Tech is especially dedicated for banks and financial institutions facing unprecedented business and technology complexity. Thanks to Crossing-Tech’s product suite Connectivity Factory those institutions can now integrate systems in a matter of days. Crossing-Tech was named Cool Vendor in Application and Integration Platforms.
CloudSigma, founded in 2009, is an innovative Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider based in Zurich, Switzerland. CloudSigma was founded to meet the growing need for a pure IaaS that places little or no restrictions on how its users deploy their computing resources. CloudSigma was named Cool Vendor in the European Cloud Computing Market.
