Founderful Campus, a student-led venture capital firm established by Founderful, is dedicated to supporting student entrepreneurs at Swiss universities. It provides investments of CHF 25,000 to help these entrepreneurs accelerate their growth as they prepare for larger funding rounds. Seven new startups have been awarded funding in the Fall semester.
Established by Founderful, a Swiss pre-seed Venture Capital firm, Founderful Campus aims to empower students from Swiss universities, such as ETH Zürich, EPFL, and the University of St. Gallen, by bridging academia with the tech industry. The program provides initial funding, hands-on training in venture capital, and access to a network of founders and investors. During the Fall semester, student partners from Founderful Campus, the student-led VC initiative, identified and selected seven promising startups for investment. These startups are developing innovative solutions across various industries, including glass fiber, science, and IT, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence.
Verretex | Mitchell Anderson, Nour Halawani, Pierre Würst & Lidia Rocoffort – Founded as an EPFL spin-off, Verretex is accelerating the adoption of regenerated glass fiber textiles, transforming waste into high-quality materials.
Loki Robotics | Antonio Arbues & Miks Ozols – developed the world’s first robots for commercial restroom cleaning. Their robot, Loki, is designed to clean as well as professional cleaners, navigating independently within buildings. Loki focuses on tasks people dislike, adapting to various surfaces and bathroom configurations while adhering to high sanitation standards with its "new surface - new tool" approach.
Lemna Bio | Moustafa Houmani, Lucien Krapp & Matteo Dal Peraro – is transforming biomolecule design with physics-driven AI models that are uniquely efficient, capable of representing any biomolecule, and adaptable to diverse challenges in drug development.
Firstday AI – is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate documentation from codebases and integrate business knowledge into engineers’ workflows. The tool streamlines the onboarding process for new engineers, designers, and project managers, helping them become productive more quickly.
Optineura AI | Jan-Hendrik Bastek & Alex Donzelli – aims to revolutionize engineering simulations, making them faster, simpler, and more scalable. Their solution enables mechanical engineers, simulation experts, and designers to accelerate product development cycles by 100x while maximizing product performance.
Zigzag Networks | Niyazi Dinc & Mustafa Yildirim – is reimagining the interconnection of compute power in data centers. The team is developing an innovative optical switching system that transforms GPU communication, significantly accelerating AI model training.
Bioscibex | Chloé Albietz & François Carruzzo – is redefining bioprocessing with innovative single-use bioreactor solutions tailored for modern biologics and cell therapy manufacturing. Their mission is to empower researchers and manufacturers with tools that simplify processes, enhance scalability, and improve efficiency.
