
Digital health startups Aktiia and OptiChronix and travel startup Chain4Travel have announced leadership changes to fuel their growth and development. The latter has filled multiple positions, including the transition of its founder to chairman of the board of directors.
Aktiia is known for its continuous blood pressure monitoring device worn on the wrist. Since its commercial launch in 2021, Aktiia has amassed the largest longitudinal Blood pressure (BP) dataset of its kind, with over 11 B optical signals and 300 million cardiovascular data points from over 80,000 users. This dataset serves as the foundation for Aktiia's AI-driven BP Intelligence Platform, which comprises BP measurement, management, and novel research insights. The CE-marked solution is currently available in seven European markets. To support its further growth, the startup has appointed U.S.-based industry veteran, Raghav Gupta as its new CEO and a member of the Board of Directors. A seasoned and entrepreneurial technology operator with a track record of growth and commercialization, Raghav brings a wealth of experience across consumer, enterprise and deep tech domains. He has operated at the intersection of technology and market inflexions for most of his career, from the early days of the Web to cloud and SaaS at Brightcove, Videoplaza and Ooyala, to sensing and deep tech, more recently, at Humatics, Butlr, and as an Operating Partner at Hyperplane.
New CEO for OptiChronix
OptiChroniX is specializing in digital therapeutics aimed at promoting early brain function and supporting healthy brain aging. Leadership changes at Chain4Travel
Chain4Travel, the provider of solutions aimed at transforming the travel industry through blockchain technology and web3 applications, has announced significant leadership changes aimed at fostering growth and innovation within the web3 travel ecosystem. Ralf Usbeck, the founder of Chain4Travel, will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. This strategic move allows Usbeck to focus on broader governance and strategic oversight while continuing to influence the company's direction.
Pablo Castillo, a co-founder of Chain4Travel, will assume the dual roles of CEO and CTO. Castillo's extensive experience in the travel industry and his deep understanding of web3 technologies position him well to lead the company through its next phase of growth and technological advancement. Joining the leadership team are Anke Hsu and Vincent Usbeck, who will serve as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Operating Officer, respectively. Hsu brings over 25 years of experience in the travel industry, including leadership roles at the Lufthansa Group, and is expected to drive global expansion efforts. Vincent Usbeck will focus on operational efficiencies and positioning the Camino Network within the web3 and travel sectors.
