E-Health congress is looking for start-ups

In October the first congress focussing on clinical application, evaluation and integration of e-health and telemedicine in today’s healthcare systems will be held in Berne. Start-ups have the chance to present the company to a wide audience.
E-Health and telemedicine have a particular potential in cardiovascular disease prevention as well as in the long-term care management of patients with chronic diseases. They will rapidly evolve and become an important component of today’s medical care. Their great potential to lower health care costs by reducing the burden of disease, the risk of complications, hospitalizations, recurrent events and premature death should be exploited to the full.
The European e-Cardiology & e-Health Congress will improve the dialogue and strengthen the interaction between stakeholder groups. The event brings together health professionals such as physicians, physiotherapists, exercise & sports scientists and nurses, experts of universities and research institutes, representatives of health and government authorities, industry representatives and service providers as well as individuals who are interested to learn more about the growing field of e-Health and telemedicine.
The congress will take place from 29 to 31 October in Berne and is characterized by a modular organization. Along with workshops, presentations, abstracts and poster sessions, business speed dating and start-up presentations will be integrated in the programme.
Start-ups have the unique opportunity to showcase the company effectively during a presentation to a broad audience including stakeholders, such as potential users, companies and venture capitalists. Goal is to strengthen start-ups in this innovative field, create useful connections and enable networking.
