Boldbrain Startup Challenge selects 20 projects

The second Boldbrain Startup Challenge, organized by Fondazione AGIRE and Start-Up Promotion Center (CP Start-Up), offers coaching, sector-specific workshops, targeted training, as well as easy access to the support and innovation network in Ticino. From the over 70 applications submitted between May and July, the Boldbrain committee of experts made their assessments and selected the 20 projects that will now enter the three-month acceleration program. The experts, who come from the business and education/training sectors mainly, have made their assessments based on a number of criteria, including the value of the idea, its possible impact in the entrepreneurial context in the region, the level of innovation, the business model and the quality of the team.

The selected projects represent the main innovative industries such as ICT, energy / cleantech, consumer products and services. Ten of the selected projects are currently incubated at the CP Start-Up of USI Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano. Projects from other Swiss cantons but also from abroad will also join the program.
