The first European-Indian Space Startup Competition honored Swiss startup Riverkin as the winner. Meanwhile, KoraLabs, eFrontiers and manukai were selected to join accelerator programs in the United States, Singapore and Germany. These programs will allow the startups to accelerate their development, expand their networks while exploring partnership opportunities.

Swiss startup Riverkin is among the winners of the first European-Indian Space Startup Competition, which aims to facilitate partnerships and encourage innovation within the space industry. Winning companies will receive sponsorship to participate in the 8th Bengaluru Space Expo in India, an event organized in collaboration with ISRO, the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe), and NewSpace India Limited (NSIL). The teams will be joined by representatives from the European Space Agency (ESA). Riverkin’s Water Data Ecosystem addresses critical water management challenges exacerbated by climate change and population growth. The startup’s advanced sensor technology, coupled with satellite images and models, enable their clients to increase operational efficiency and manage water risk, while ensuring environmental compliance.  

KoraLabs, Plug and Play agtech
The tenth batch for the Plug and Play Agtech and Animal Health includes KoraLabs, the startup developing agriculture digital twins fusing earth observation data and agronomic models to provide farmers with an AI-based management tool, an app, to facilitate better decision-making, especially for fertilization usage. Bay joining Plug and Play KoraLabs and its peers get the opportunity to accelerate their solutions for the agriculture sector with industry partners. 

eFrontiers selected for EduSpaze Accelerator in Singapore
EduSpaze, Singapore’s first Edtech Accelerator, supported by Enterprise Singapore, has welcomed its 9th batch which comprises efrontiers from Geneva. The program offers the startup the opportunity to expand its reach in financial education and explore new verticals, applying its gamified microlearning solution beyond its current scope. The startup developed a Financial Literacy App, Moneymatters, an interactive and gamified platform offering the widest range of finance related content and interactive experience. The company white-labels the app for various institutions and companies to improve the financial literacy of their stakeholders. 

Manukai joins two accelerators
The coming weeks are poised to be busy for Manukai, the startup aiming to transform how Swiss manufacturing companies work. The startup offers an AI-powered CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) Copilot that simplifies the programming process within CAM software by learning from programmers' preferences and providing suggestions. The ETH Spinoff has been selected to join to accelerator programs. Hubraum's AI Co-Creation Program aims to shape the future of AI, focusing on innovation in industries such as telecommunications, automotive, and customer service. The CyberLab Startup Accelerator, with its community of over 1200 will enable the 19 selected startups companies to master market entry, secure financing and scale up. The program offers mentoring by experienced entrepreneurs, coaching, shared startup workspace.
