UZH Innovation Grant
The UZH Innovation Grant supports Doctoral candidates, Postdocs and established researchers from the University of Zurich through a guided market validation process and provides CHF 10’000 in funding. It allows participants to learn with peers and business coaches to effectively explore how an innovation can solve real problems of potential customers, develop hypotheses around a value proposition and test these in interviews with experts and customers. The program is run twice a yea — in November and April.
The new Swiss Venture Capital Report was published on 26 January. It analyses 304 financing rounds closed in 2020 and includes further article such as an interview with Michael Hengartner, President of the ETH Board, and a list of Swiss "soonicorns".
