The event is the matchmaking event for startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), service providers, investors as well as academic and global players from the medtech sector.
The event consists of pitches by startups/industrial innovators and solution providers. Additionally, there will be a tabletop exhibition with a limited amount of tabletops and a 1-to-1 partnering service. Tabletops will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
The organisers are looking for ambitious Medtech Startups to hand in their applications. The best 7 applicants will be allowed to pitch in front of a high-profile audience of representatives from major Medtech pharmaceutical companies, investors, CTOs and solution providers.
Startups can apply using this form until 22nd of March 2021. An expert board will choose the seven best startups and invite them to pitch at the Medtech Innovation Event.
The new Swiss Venture Capital Report was published on 26 January. It analyses 304 financing rounds closed in 2020 and includes further article such as an interview with Michael Hengartner, President of the ETH Board, and a list of Swiss "soonicorns".
