Digital finance is transformative. Harnessing its potential to reshape our economical system is essential and full of opportunities. Fintech for Society is a 2-day program for startups in finance to explore these opportunities, leveraging the expertise, network and visibility of three renowned institutions: UNIL-HEC, IMD and EPFL. Through Fintech for Society, the E4S Center supports 15 fintech companies on their growth path. Entrepreneurs, if you are interested in working closely with experts from academia and industry, meeting strategic investors and discovering young talents, join us on December 8 and 9 in Lausanne.
Program content
In this program you’ll experience:
> A public event to present your company and engage with young talents from Unil-HEC, EPFL and IMD & key actors in the ecosystem (Dec 8, 17:30-19:00).
> 1-1 meetings with potential investors and partners (Dec 9, 12:30-14:30)
> Interactive group sessions on:
- How to seize the opportunity of a shifting financial market? With Marc Gruber, EPFL (Dec 8, 14:00-17:00)
- How to strengthen your vision and positioning? With Cyrus Fazel, Swissborg and Jean-Philippe Bonardi, Unil-HEC (Dec 9, 09:00-12:00)
- How to think global for a fast and sustainable growth?
The new Swiss Venture Capital Report was published on 26 January. It analyses 304 financing rounds closed in 2020 and includes further article such as an interview with Michael Hengartner, President of the ETH Board, and a list of Swiss "soonicorns".
