China trip: Call for applications
The University of Zürich, Executive Education (UZH) in partnership with Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS), China are organizing a trip to China for 10-15 executives and experts from large companies, SMEs and start-ups in finance, fintech, marketing, healthcare and consulting. There are currently three places available.

Each participant is responsible for arranging their own travel to Shanghai, including the timing and airline. Travel itineraries of the participants will be shared, so that they can travel together, if wished.
Timeline
End of April 2025: Detailed information and a schedule, including hotel and company addresses, speakers, pre-reading material, request for discussion/question for the company visits, physical guide to Zhejiang province, etc.
Q4 2025: Info event to consolidate experiences and key insights. The primary goal is to develop strategic perspectives that strengthen the Swiss economic and innovation center.
Q2 2026: Visit executives from the Shanghai region to Switzerland for one week. The goal of this reverse trip is to introduce participants to the advantages of Switzerland’s innovation power and financial center capabilities. There will be opportunities for company visits and presentations provided by you (if wished).
The new Swiss Venture Capital Report was published on 26 January. It analyses 304 financing rounds closed in 2020 and includes further article such as an interview with Michael Hengartner, President of the ETH Board, and a list of Swiss "soonicorns".
