Testmate Health SA
Testmate Health is developing the first disposable home test for common STIs. It is a urine based test for both men and women, and provides results in minutes for chlamydia, gonorrhoea & trichomoniasis. We combine key breakthrough technological innovations in urine handling & sample preparation, and low-cost colorimetric detection of DNA sequences to achieve our mission of making STI testing inclusive & accessible. Our technological platform provides PCR equivalent accuracy that overcomes urine sampling challenges, it can be performed in simple steps by any consumer, and the low cost structure allows for high market adoption.
