PIPRA’s AI-based decision support tool calculates the risk of postoperative delirium for each patient. The preoperative test allows cost-effective deployment of preventative strategies for patients most at risk.This new technology is enabling a shift to preventive rather than reactive healthcare, saving both costs and time while improving outcomes. POD is the largest postoperative complication in older patients, affecting 20% of patients over 60.
