Prototype Fund

The Prototype Fund supports open-source projects that reduce Switzerland’s ecological footprint through or with digital technology. The six-month program offers developers, researchers, data journalists, creative and politically active people up to CHF 100,000, coaching and training, and access to its network to support the development of their open-source project from concept to prototype. The Prototype Fund is a program by Opendata.ch and supported by the Mercator Foundation Switzerland and the Christoph Merian Foundation. This year, the program focuses on sustainable digitalization and digital sufficiency.
