Digital Health Incubator
Organised by Digital Health Center Bülach (DHC) and Tenity, the Digital Health Incubator supports pre-seed and seed-stage startups in Switzerland and abroad, helping them build their business to prepare them for their first round of financing. During the four-month program, selected companies get access to experts from the healthcare sector and representatives of service providers, industry, research, and an international network of active investors. They will also get office spaces.
The accelerator operates on a success-based fee model. There will be a fee only if the startup closes a first financing round, capped at CHF 100K worth of shares or 2% of equity, whichever is better for the company.
The second batch will start in Januar 2025.
Criteria
Focus on Digital Healthâ€: Start-ups should have a solution or use case for the healthcare sector " for example, mHealth, eHealth, Healthcare IT, and new solutions. Early-stageâ€: you are early-stage, but plan to access the market within the next 3-5 years. Ideally, you have a prototype or MVP You have a founding teamâ€
The new Swiss Venture Capital Report was published on 26 January. It analyses 304 financing rounds closed in 2020 and includes further article such as an interview with Michael Hengartner, President of the ETH Board, and a list of Swiss "soonicorns".
