Merck, known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, announced today that it has acquired, through a subsidiary, OncoEthix, a Lausanne-based privately held biotechnology company specializing in oncology drug development. Financial terms of the acquisition include an upfront payment of up to $110 million to OncoEthix.

Bosch Software Innovations, the Bosch Group’s software and systems house, and KNIME.com, a Swiss start-up and provider of the only open platform for data-driven innovation, today announced that they will work together to allow data mining and data analytics for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

These study results were observed in a prespecified interim analysis of the Phase 1b trial conducted by Neurimmune’s collaboration partner Biogen Idec, Cambridge, MA.
