The new interactive platform vaud.digital was launched in April 2018 with the objective to map all innovators in the field of digital (big and small companies, startups, labs and accelerators) in the canton of Vaud. From machine learning, blockchain or software, to artificial intelligence or IoT, 350 actors have already joined the platform today. Together, they represent 18 different digital technologies and 26 industries.
What are the companies, support organizations and labs driving the digital transformation, and the related “industry 4.0” economy, in the canton of Vaud? This question was at the heart of the first discussions about putting in place vaud.digital between Innovaud and the Department of the Economy, Innovation and Sport (DEIS) of the canton of Vaud, who jointly launched the platform. vaud.digital was successfully put live during EPFL’s big digital event, FORWARD, in April 2018. More than 3000 people already visited it and the community is growing every day.
More than a community of digital innovators, vaud.digital is the place to find who is leading the way in terms of digital transformation in the canton of Vaud, either to create new business opportunities, generate great investment ideas or learn about digital services.
