Two major partnerships will see Swiss startups launch their solutions on the global market; Loriot joined North Partners to enhance IoT Network Management in the UK while Tech5’s technology has been integrated in Fomoco’s Android wireless device.

In the field of contactless payments, Famoco, a Trusted Mobile and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution provider, and TECH5, an innovator in the field of biometrics and digital identity management, have entered global partnership in which Famoco launches a new Android wireless device (Famoco Touch FX206) with TECH5’s multi-biometric contactless capture technology – T5-AirSnap – integrated.
T5-AirSnap is a fully touchless biometric acquisition technology powered by AI and deep learning for face and fingerprint biometric modalities. The technology uses the camera of the device for capture, can check and enhance the quality of captured image(s), run a liveness check and then package and send the data for registration or verification. The resulting data is compliant with relevant ISO standards and suitable for use with legacy datasets. The T5-AirSnap technology is optimal for onboarding as well as for verification across all vertical markets, including telecom – for SIM-card registration, Governments – for onboarding and verification of Health ID, Refugee ID, and other documents, and more.
