Number of start-ups has quadrupled since 2003
Today, 300 start-ups are founded in Switzerland every year. Founders come from the excellent universities, but often they are also industry insiders with years or decades of experience behind them. In addition, Switzerland succeeds in attracting highly qualified founders from abroad in areas such as life sciences, financial services and blockchain.
