At its core, Web 2.0 is driven by user contributions and therefore operates on a democratic basis. The founders of Politnetz.ch have implemented a closely related idea of using Web 2.0 for politics. On this platform, more than 10,000 citizens interact with politicians, including 25 national councilors.
