Swissparks.ch announces finalists of its first start-up award

This year Swissparks.ch, the Association of Swiss Technology Parks and Business Incubators, awards its Start-up of the year prize for the first time. The award ceremony will be held next week. The finalists are already known: Vissee, Qualysense and Winterthur Instruments.

For the first time SwissParks.ch honours in 2012 the ''Start up of the year''. Out of the submitted candidatures the jury has preselected the following three start-ups for the SwissParks.ch Award 2012 (in alphabetical order):

ViSSee AG, Lugano

QualySense AG, Dübendorf

Winterthur Instruments GmbH, Winterthur

On the occasion of SwissParks.ch General Assembly 2012, the three start-ups will have the opportunity to present themselves after a short introduction and explanation of the reasons for nomination by the jury. Afterwards all SwissParks.ch members taking part in the General Assembly will elect the third, second and first winner of the SwissParks.ch Award 2012.

The awards ceremony will take place in Lugano on 22nd May 2012 during the event Start2Match.

The SwissParks.ch Award is sponsored by the Swiss Business Group and the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs and endowed with CHF 10'000 in total.

SwissParks.ch is the national association of incubators and technology parks in Switzerland. Founded in 2000, it today comprises about 25 full members hosting over 700 innovative companies, and a fast growing number of associated members.
